One of the best things about June in Florida is that it's Mango Season. When they are on sale, I stock up and freeze them. It's really easy to do, you peel it (since it's leathery, it comes off very easily), cut the flesh off of the seed, cut into cubes. Put on a plate or cookie sheet and freeze until hard. Then put in a freezer bag until you need them.
My smoothie recipe:
1 fresh mango
1 banana
1 fresh peach
1 sm (8 oz) french vanilla low fat yogurt (I use Stoneyfield Farms organic)
about 1/2 cup frozen mango cubes
Put in blender, whir until smooth, drink. Yummmm!
